Note:  In 1996 USDA discontinued their program of approving non-food compounds.  NSF International created the NSF Non-food Compounds Registration Program as a continuation of the USDA product approval and listing program, which is based on meeting regulatory requirements including FDA 21 CFR for appropriate use, ingredients and labeling.  They continue to use the same criteria and rating system as USDA did.  H1 lubricants may be used as a lubricant with incidental food contact for use in official establishments operating under the Federal meat and Poultry Inspection Program.  H2 lubricants may be used as a lubricant, release agent, or anti-rust film on equipment and machine parts or in closed systems in locations in which there is no possibility of the lubricant or lubricated part contacting edible products.

*   Active ingredients comply with 21 CFR 178.3570 lubricants with incidental food contact.   Allow solvent
to evaporate prior to possible food contact.
**  Both active ingredients and solvent comply with 21 CFR 178.3570 lubricants with incidental food contact.

* The California Air Resources Board (CARB) has established new lower levels of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) and banned the use of some solvents for certain categories of aerosol products.  This product DOES NOT comply with the new CARB regulation and is not offered for sale in the State of California.  For CA  RB compliant products, please ask to see the new Shelby® product line.

                                                          OTC Compliant Products!!!!
There are new lower VOC limits for a wide variety of products which are going into effect in the northeastern United States January 1, 2005.  Camie-Campbell is prepared to maintain uninterrupted compliance so that this regulatory change will be seamless for our customers.  All Camie aerosol products manufactured after 1/1/05 will comply with the lower VOC requirements.
The OTC (Ozone Transport Commission) is made up of the following 13 states:  Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont and Virginia.  At present, four of these states have adopted the OTC model VOC rule and the rest are anticipated to do so by the end of 2004.
