Note: In 1996 USDA discontinued their program of approving non-food compounds. NSF International created the NSF Non-food Compounds Registration Program as a continuation of the USDA product approval and listing program, which is based on meeting regulatory requirements including FDA 21 CFR for appropriate use, ingredients and labeling. They continue to use the same criteria and rating system as USDA did. H1 lubricants may be used as a lubricant with incidental food contact for use in official establishments operating under the Federal meat and Poultry Inspection Program. H2 lubricants may be used as a lubricant, release agent, or anti-rust film on equipment and machine parts or in closed systems in locations in which there is no possibility of the lubricant or lubricated part contacting edible products. * Active
ingredients comply with 21 CFR 178.3570 lubricants with incidental food
contact. Allow solvent |
